2048 drop: the falling-block 2048
2048 drop turns 2048 into a falling-block game: each turn one numbered block drops into the column you choose, and equal numbers that touch merge. Blokami is a 2048 drop game with no ads, five columns and special blocks.

2048 vs 2048 drop
| Classic 2048 | 2048 drop (Blokami) | |
|---|---|---|
| Move | Swipe the whole grid | Drop one block in a column |
| Merges | Two at a time, in the swipe direction | Up to four neighbours at once |
| Combos | Rare | Chain reactions after every merge |
| Game over | No move left | A column goes past six blocks |
| Session | Long, thoughtful | Short, fast |
Why falling blocks change everything
In 2048 you move every tile at once. In a drop game you only control where the next block lands. That one choice is enough: drop a 4 next to a 4 that sits on an 8 next to another 8, and the whole stack folds into a 32 in one go. Reading those chains before they happen is the skill.
Merges also count every neighbour: a block that lands touching two equal numbers absorbs both and jumps two steps (2 → 8). In classic 2048 that never happens.
Beyond 2048
Reaching 2048 is a milestone, not the end. The numbers you are given grow with your biggest block, so the board stays playable as you climb to 4096, 8192 and further. Ready to try? Start with the rules or the strategy guide.
